It'd be cool if Dwight wouldn't taunt an injured player.

You guys taunted Paul Pierce when HE COULDN'T EVEN WALK last year. Maybe Rose should man up.

Wait, you mean the Lazarus Wheelchair Incident? Yeah, everyone taunted him for that, and they should, because it was [expletive] ridiculous.

That was 2 years ago, and I didn't injure Paul Pierce.

Actually no one injured Paul Pierce so it was perfectly acceptable.

Prognosis on Rose positive as All-Star guard heads to Dallas

The Bulls released the following statement regarding Derrick Rose's injury sustained during Wednesday's game versus the Orlando Magic on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 12:06 p.m. CT:

Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose left last night’s game versus the Orlando Magic with a bruised right hip at the 9:36 mark of the first quarter. Rose hit the floor following a foul by Orlando center Dwight Howard.

Rose underwent an MRI on his low back and right hip last night at the Rush University Medical Center. The results were consistent with the fall and showed no significant injury to the hip or low back. He will be re-examined in Dallas, Texas on Saturday by Bulls team physician Dr. Brian Cole of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.

“X-rays so far were negative,” Bulls Head Athletic Trainer Fred Tedeschi said after the game. “I won’t say we completely ruled out a fracture, but it looks unlikely at this point. If there’s not a great deal of inflammation, I think we can be optimistic. If there are some things going on we’ll have to deal with that.”

Well they haven't ruled out the ASG yet, so it seems theres a pretty good chance. Also good to see he's going to Dallas no matter what, although I would have guessed that even if he wasn't playing.

We had a really good game last night in Chicago. We were on fire from the start and we really jumped on those guys good. We didn’t hard miss a shot in that first quarter, getting lobs, hitting 3-pointers and cuts to the rim.

The only bad thing about that night was that my boy, Derrick Rose, got hurt when he collided with me at the rim. I saw the replay and he really hit hard on his butt and hip. I went over to him and asked him if he was OK and he said he was.

Some dudes after the game asked me if it was a dirty play and I just had to laugh. Apparently they don’t see some of the hits that I take every night down there.

With D-Rose driving to the hoop, it was just his momentum and my momentum that caused that to happen. It wasn’t like I caught him real hard and he went down. It was just momentum and when he hit the Man of Steel he went down. He should know he can’t tug on Superman’s cape. Just kidddin’.

D-Rose is a really good guy. We spent a lot of time together last summer when we went to China as part of an Adidas trip. We spent a lot of time talking and really built a good relationship. He’s such a good dude.

I just told him that he’s off to a really good start to his career and to stay on track. You can already see how he’s such a good leader for that team. He does it by example instead of being a rah-rah talker. I like that ‘cause that’s the way I try to lead.

I really think he’s got a good chance to make the Olympic team in 2012 and go with us to London and try and get another gold. I gotta thank Mr. Colangelo for putting me on the team again. I had so much fun on that 2008 team and winning gold in China that I knew I wanted to play again if I could. Hopefully we can bring home another gold for good ol’ USA.

Poor Patrick Ewing. ESPN has a thing up to vote on the biggest posterization of all time. Scottie over Ewing, or MJ over Ewing.

I was at the Scottie game, so I'm partial to that one.

I wish they showed the part right after where Scottie walks right up to Spike Lee and starts jawing at him.

That's a good list of dunks too. The Tom Chambers one is so unbelievable.

maybe paul pierce should stop getting stabbed in the face.

You don't want to see what a healthy Pierce without lethal wounds in his face could do to the Bulls in the playoffs.

milk even more injuries?

Probably hit a bunch of jumpers over John Salmons as the Celtics win in five.

Bulls, Heat, and one other team have made offers for Amare and Phoenix is still very much considering trading him. The Celtics will not do the Twan/Butler deal for Ray Allen, big ginger, and others. Good news for Bulls fans holding out hope that an Allen deal could get done.

I'd rather have Joe Johnson and Amare than Joe Johnson and Lee or Joe Johnson and Taj Gibson or Kirk Hinrich and Taj Gibson.

And I'm not big on Amare either

i recently read quotes from amare saying how theres a good chance he wont even opt out this offseason and instead wait until the next year when there arent as many free agents.

amare would be like 5th on my list of upcoming FAs. behind lebron/wade/bosh/boozer

forget about amare and focus on getting expirings

If the Celtics wouldn't trade Allen for them, why would they trade Allen for the Bulls's assorted collection of garbage?

Yeah he's about 5th on my list too, but none of these other guys look like they are getting traded in season and in the offseason who knows who is going where. We could be stuck with David Lee or something. I'm just saying getting one big name while you can and you're halfway through your shopping list. Also, perhaps Wade is going to resign with Miami in his mind, if we already have a team with Rose, Amare and Noah, it might give him a bit of pause.

i can see your logic, but i feel like chicago is an attractive enough destination that we shouldnt have a problem landing 2 big guys this offseason if we have the resources and are serious about it. i just really don't like amare at all, and i think it's worth the risk to just wait and go hard after one or 2 guys this offseason.
