That sucks but it's the right decision for the Bulls. Noah really hasn't been contributing as much as he was at the beginning of the season with this injury so let him get some rest and hopefully he finishes the season strong. We really need Brad Miller to step up in Noah's absence now like he did in the Houston game.

 

The way I understand the condition that Noah has, 12 days is pretty much as good as resting him 0 days It's one of those things where he needs 6 weeks off for everything to heal or else it will reoccur fairly quickly. That was also what happened when Nocioni had it a couple of years ago. Remember when he missed like 2-3 weeks, came back to play 2-3 games and then got shut down for the season? This is going to be a season long thing for Noah, IMO. The crappy thing is, he's gonna play through it then take 2 months off in the summer and probably come back out of shape like he did 2 years ago. OK probably not because he's matured since then but whatever.

It was a stupid comment about how Noah was recovering from an injury 2 offseasons ago and showed up to camp out of shape despite the injury healing midway through the offseason and didn't get in shape until like mid-December. He could only play 20 minutes a night. He's a much different and more mature player now so I don't even know why I made that remark.

I saw that play materializing and was like "is he really going to do it?" And he did. Rose is a player.

 

This team has talent, but they have terrible coaching. They are playing one-on-one basketball tonight. One guy dribbles, the rest watch. This is high school crap. Deng is the worst $70 million player I have ever seen. He is so limited. Give the ball to Rose and get out of the way. He doesn't need a stupid pick. Thomas never saw a shot he didn't like. He tried to copy Josh Smith's left handed hook shot which clanged off the backboard.

Yep. But Rose is the only guy who can do that in a half-court set. With Noah out, Miller is lagging behind in the fast break and the team suffered. The Bulls kept it close even though Atlanta has a ton more talent. It took the Bulls 11 years to get an all-star. How long before they get a legitimate low post scorer? Curry was really the last one.

 

Man that dunk by Rose was just unbelievable.

Outside of Rose, Noah, and sometimes Deng, the rest of this team deserves to be in the NBDL.

 

This quarter has been one of the worst frames I think I've ever seen.

Rose didn't get the ball enough in the 4th, and sure enough we struggle to put the ball in the basket. Nothing like a 16 point differential in the final quarter to finish it off.

I am out of town but decided to turn on espn when they started the 4th quarter up 6. Of course they get outscored 27-11 in the quarter I watch. This is 4 fourth quarters in a row when the bulls come out completely flat. That speaks to coaching to me. Rose rests to start the 4th and when they get him back in it's too late because the wheels have already fallen off and the team collapses.

 

I've never seen a team go through epic collapse after epic collapse like this team does. In 75% of their games they go through a 6-10 minute period where they take horrible off the mark shots, careless turnovers, and strangest of all tons of missed FTs to go along with it. This leads to some hilariously anemic scoring outputs.

Derrick just doesn't realize that he can and must begin to take over games, especially when they are close. If I had his talent, I would be demanding the ball. I would bring the ball up the court and never freaking pass it. Derrick you don't have to be nice. I remember the famous line by Jordan after he scored 15 in a row to end the game and Tex Winter came up to him and said "Mike, there is to I in TEAM." Jordan said, "But there is in WIN."

This is where not having a legitimate low-post threat comes into play. For this team, there are no easy baskets apart from Rose just shredding the defense. When you have to fight for every shot, it wears you down and you go through 6-10 minute stretches where you rest.

Get Rose some help, GARPAX. I swear the god if their plan fails this summer, then GARPAX should be fired and someone capable of finding Rose help should be hired.

Did anyone notice Hinrich taking the ball up the floor in the 4th quarter with Rose on the floor? Either they were sticking Rose at SG to enhance his scoring opportunities or they were keeping Hinrich at PG to showcase him for a trade.
