  1. The Bears have to be one of the more profitable teams in the NFL so the money has always been there. It's just the McCaskey's are usually pissy about spending it. Not this year with Angelo and Lovie's jobs on the line.
  2. I've spent way too many hours in my life refreshing message boards hoping for players that never end up coming here. I won't get excited until the press conference. Jake Peavy, Brian Roberts, Amare, Gasol, Garnett, Kobe Am I missing any? Jay Cutler trade came out of the middle of nowhere.
  3. Redskins are out in the Peppers sweepstakes: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/
  4. We're not getting Rolle. And no I'd rather have Taylor than Westbrook. Westbrook is a concussion away from retiring. I'm just constantly refreshing hoping for more news! You should get a Twitter. Twitter is amazing for situations like these. Just follow all the insiders and you'll have the news before anyone else.
  5. We're not getting Rolle. And no I'd rather have Taylor than Westbrook. Westbrook is a concussion away from retiring. Fair enough. I do think Taylor is overrated on this board though. Possibly. He was good with the Vikings but behind a very good O-Line.
  6. Brandon Manumaleuna will visit as well
  7. We're not getting Rolle. And no I'd rather have Taylor than Westbrook. Westbrook is a concussion away from retiring.
  8. Chester Taylor is meeting with the Browns tomorrow as well. Or maybe the Bears report was incorrect.
  9. http://phandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/excited-kid-birthday.gif Peppers and Taylor is one hell of an offseason
  10. Well unless he TJ Housmanzadeh's us, we have a new DE
  11. Vaughn McClure: Defensive end Julius Peppers has agreed to visit the Chicago Bears on Friday, according to agent Carl Carey. The Bears are the front-runner.
  12. LanceZierlein Holy crap! Source close to bears says peppers isn't going to get away fom them. This feels like a gunfight
  13. BradBiggs Real optimism brewing at Halas Hall right now. Free agency opens in 10 minutes and #Bears believe they will land Julius Peppers.
  14. Schefter was on ESPN and it seems to me like he thinks Peppers will be a Bear. He said a deal could get done right as free agency begins.
  15. Good riddance. The Giants can take him for that price.
  16. Wouldn't this be....*gasp*...tampering?
  17. John Paxson is sitting in his closet on suicide alert I think. What a terrible team he's put together.
  18. Haha nice inbounds play you [expletive] idiot. Just fire Vinny's [expletive] ass now
  19. Rose doesn't give a [expletive] tonight.
  20. This team isn't making the playoffs and will probably strike out this offseason. Hopefully nobody shows up to games next year.
  21. Good Kirk is hurt. NOW GTFO
  22. Thank God we kept Captain Klank. This guy is a bum! John Salmons leading the Bucks to the 5th seed. NICE JOB GARPAX!
  23. Another epic chokejob by the Chicago Bulls. See ya Vinny!
  24. It must be the 4th quarter because Luol Deng has fumbled a rebound and has a turnover so far.
  25. Rolle and Chester Taylor would be a good offseason IMO and I'm a guy that always wants to go after the big names! I'm scared Peppers will come in and be what Ben Wallace was to the Bulls. Which means he won't give a s*** once he gets his paycheck. the two situations are way different, wallace wasn't worth anything befor ehe got his pyacheck and was nowhere close to a diminant player at his position. I disagree. Wallace was a beast before he got his contract. He was one of the main reasons why the Pistons won that championship. I compare both of them because they were both around 30 when their contract was up and both probably on the downslide of their careers.
