Yeah, they are even money right now to make the playoffs. And if they don't, the NJ loss is going to hurt a lot more.

Oh well, its not like they are beating Cleveland. Maybe they get lucky again and win the lottery.

I would think more than even money. Chicago and Toronto both have 2 games left. Therefore, there are 16 total possibilities for outcomes. Of those 16 possibilities, 11 of them will have the Bulls making the playoffs.

That's assuming all opponents are of equal quality which isn't the case.

Hopefully BG will pick up all his old pals in Chicago and drop 50 on Toronto tonight.

If Atlanta wins tonight, they clinch the 3 seed, so the Celtics would have nothing to play for (Atlanta won the season series 3-0). So, go Hawks and Pistons.

Unfortunately no. They could still both end up 52-30 and the first tiebreaker would be division winners not head to head and Boston would own that tiebreaker.

You sure? This page makes it sound like it's head-to-head:

It pretty clearly says division winner.

(1) Division leader wins tie from team not leading a division

(2) Head-to-head won-lost percentage

Toronto is beating Detroit by 20 in the 2nd half. Looks like the Raps are going to be the 8 seed unless the Bulls somehow beat Boston and Charlotte.

I would assume that VDN probably isn't coming back next year regardless of the Bulls being in and out of the playoffs after hearing this.

Chicago Bulls executive vice president John Paxson shoved coach Vinny Del Negro twice in the chest and had to be restrained in a postgame confrontation late last month, multiple sources told Yahoo! Sports.

After a loss to the Phoenix Suns on March 30, an irate Paxson walked into the coach’s office at the United Center and confronted Del Negro over a narrow breach of a management-imposed minutes limit on injured forward Joakim Noah(notes). Sources said Paxson first grabbed a hold of Del Negro’s tie and seemingly tried to provoke him with two successive jabs into his chest. Paxson was even heard to angrily challenge Del Negro to a fight.

Fantastic. And yes Rusch, I think you're right...........I don't see VDN coming back after this incident. The fact that this story is released so close to the end of the year leads me to believe the Bulls are lying down the groundwork to fire him as soon as they are eliminated from the playoffs/chase.

Paxson and Del Negro both need to go, but I don't think the Bulls can afford that much instability going into this year's free agency period.

Pretty physical game so far. Both teams really want this game. Noah is playing pretty darn good with a lot of energy crashing the boards. Rose threw a pass that terribly missed its target and Pete Meyers caught it. He held it over his head and wouldn't let Rondo get it.

Paxson is way out of line there. Noah just played a few extra minutes. Paxson was probably so ticked cause he doesn't want Vinny to do well so he can fire him with a decent reason.

WHAT THE [expletive] DID SHEED JUST DO?!

Tried to go for an open rebound but he fumbled the ball and it went up and into the Bulls basket. I'm gonna LOL so hard if the Bulls win by 1.
