Yeah, the defense is gassed, unfortunately. Still though, it was great effort by K-State. Still plenty of football left though.

 

And Banks (WR for KSU) can flat out fly. KO returned for a TD.

Wow, Snyder might not be a figurehead after all. K-State's at least respectable this year, which is a huge improvement over what they've been the last couple of seasons.

Oh, and ND is playing WSU in Texas b/c Kevin White (last AD) entered into a contract with NBC that gave them the right to broadcast 8 games, including 1 neutral site game, for the next several years.

call me crazy, but i think usc's pending three td loss to oregon is more impressive than iowa's 18 point win against indiana. i'd go ahead and say usc should jump iowa in the rankings.

I had USC -3 in my Pick Em' Pool, but I really don't mind seeing them get rolled here. I can't believe Purdue almost beat Oregon, beat Ohio St. and has been god awful other than that.

that'd be kinda a load of BS since boise state beat oregon state and will presumably be undefeated.

I definitely remember now how hard it is to like an undefeated team, as everyone else pretty much develops a hatred for your team. Went through it in 2006 with the Bears.

 

 

People don't hate Iowa because they are undefeated. It's because they play in a weak conference, are over-rated and play a sissy non-conference schedule . They should be ranked about #14. Florida, Alabama, Texas and USC would crush them and about 9 other good teams would beat them easily.

 

It's amazing that for playing such a sissy non-conference schedule they still have the highest SOS of any of the undefeated teams.

 

It wasn't brutal but at Iowa State and Arizona aren't garbage.

 

Yes they play in a weak conference. So does everyone in the discussion. What conference is really good this year? The ACC? Big East? Big 12? The SEC is half of what it's hyped up to be. The Pac-10 is very solid this year.
