The problem isn't the secondaries personnel, its the scheme. The secondary would be more successful in a man or man/zone scheme, but Lovie refuses to change. The d-line isn't bad, but the Bengals can keep 6/7 blockers in on a 4 man rush because the secondary scheme leaves so many holes.

 

 

 

The o-line and the o-coord need to be canned.

angelo brought cutler in to be the bridge. NO defense should be getting beaten this bad. generally, a qb like cutler can keep your team close while you're rebuilding your defense. angelo has found most of his defensive talent in the later rounds anyway, he'll find it again. they have options.

the staff is fine except for turner. the defnsive scheme is fine, it may need some tweaking, but bringing in an all new staff would be going overboard.

I've seen an awful lot of holes in our pass defense all season, it just hasn't come back to bite us nearly as hard as it has today.
