who was calling them the best team in football?

Most everyone after they pummeled the Giants.

Doesn't help anyways. I don't feel better.

The Vikings losing on two Favre induced TD's the other way, that is probably the highlight of my day I suppose.

At least the Bears will remain two games out of first. As frustrating as today is.

No offense, but the Bears REALLY need to address the secondary this offseason. Pnut and Vasher simply can't cut it anymore.

The secondary, both lines, and a WR would be nice. It can't be done in one offseason

"Better" might be a bit generous, but it is a reality check. And looks like the AFC is on pace to go 7-1 vs. the NFC today.

A proficient passer with weapons that doesn't turn it over is a tough matchup for this team right now. Thing is, they'll face that more than a few times the rest of the way. This might be a lowpoint, but it also isn't a total anomaly.

You don't seem to understand the concept of multiple years of poor scheming, coaching, in-game decisions, coordinating, and allocation of resources.

The lines should be the #1 priority.

Don't forget linebackers including Urlacher's eventual successor. And a #2 RB.
