Nothing. But there is no situation in which Koyie Hill is the better option than Jake Fox.

He is in a situation where you need a good defensive catcher. Fox dropped a called strike 3. That tells you something about his catching abilities. I don't want him behind the plate when Marmol pitches. I'm with Mojo on this, Fox should not be catching a major league game, at least not starting.

i normally wouldn't want Fox starting at C, but Hill has got to be exausted. it's a day game after a night game with a pitcher on the mound (I assume) that Fox has experience catching from the minors.

I think Fox has caught Wells exactly 1 time while in the minors.

Just dropped in to say it should be a great rest of the season. And, how likely are we to see a Northwestern v. Illinois football game at Wrigley in the near future?

I really don't understand why the Cubs haven't called up a real catcher from Iowa. We are carrying 12 pitchers right now, so if Lou wants to go with 12 then why not send Hoffpauir down in order to get a catcher up here. Otherwise send down Shark.

After reading the thread so glad to see I am not the only one that wanted to see Fox catch. Hill needs a day off, day game after a night game and Wells doesn't exactly have electric stuff. Hope a media member asks Lou if he plans on giving Hill a breather and let Fox catch a game here and there.

I'm obviously not a believer in clutchiness, but damn, Aramis is one player that makes me want to re-think that stance.

Rammy is just an rbi whore...all he cares about is driving in runs. He sells-out and is willing to go to all fields. That and he doesn't hustle...
