Oddly enough that is a carbon copy of Valverde's "pick off throw" to first when he first came in the game. :hello:

After my class ended, I got off the train at Addison and went to the peephole to watch the rest of the game. Best decision ever.

Loved Zambranos interview. "I made 1 bad pitch, to Lee, I think hes got my number....Maybe.....Maybe". All while smiling like a 14 year old losing his virginity.

Thought Id just say it again, and give Stevens some more props. He had some really nasty stuff tonight, really nasty. Id like to see him get used a little more.

In case anyone's curious of the view from the peephole...

If you look really close, you can see all the Cubs at home plate.

Was this after the walkoff? On GRB you said it was the 8th inning right?

I agree. Both his fastball and his curve looked really tough to hit.

8th inning onward. So I got quite a bit of free baseball.

We checked it out yesterday while we were standing in line for the bleachers. Pretty nice view.

Anyone notice Dempster was the only one in the huddle at home plate not jumping? I hope his toe is okay and we're not rushing him back here. Maybe he just wasn't excited lol.

I must have missed something. Why does Soriano do his whole "you can't see me" waving his hands in front of his face thing?

Maybe I'm the only one that sees it this way, but it looked to me as if he was fanning himself. As in, "I'm really hot right now."

Soriano hit that ball so far that I couldn't even see it go from standing room. Just lots of shouting and screaming and high-fiving. Woooeeeeee.
