Fukudome was called out on a DP grounder at 2nd base when replays showed he was there literally about a second before the ball got to the Brave's glove.

A double play ball with Fukudome at first, he was running on the play. Managed to get to the bag when the ball was almost 10 feet from the 2nd baseman's glove, called out. It was an exceptionally bad blown call

when i become commissioner of MLB, that umpire will be fired immediately. not because he screwed over the cubs, but anyone who blows a call as badly as the one in the first inning cannot be an umpire at the highest level of baseball.

I was going to ask this as well, Kawakami is pretty terrible on the road, 6 HR in 36IP, 5+ ERA, there's real no real reason the Cubs shouldn't touch him up for 5+ runs.

So now that we've talked about how awful the pitcher is, the Cubs will proceed to score 1 run and lose 3-1.
