How can that possibly be called an error?

I have no idea. Cameron did a heck of a job just getting into the vicinity of that ball.

It should have been a hit.

The ball that almost hit Milton in the face a couple days ago was ruled a double, but Cameron gets that ruled an error. Just another reason why errors are a mostly worthless stat for outfielders.

Yeah but Braun only has 2 in his career, that makes him a great defensive OFer............. :D)

Cameron should have caught it. He got to a ball that most wouldn't of got to, but he still missed it. Giving him an error could be considered as penalizing him for some great range, but it is a play he should have made.

Bradleys should have been an error.

You can quit your crying now, they ruled it a hit

So why was this necessary?

It wasn't.

Because Soriano was involved I misinterpreted the comments as people defending him as opposed to the actual play.
