Which happens more, an OF losing the ball in the sun in their home park, or a runner being doubled off on a line drive to the fielder nearest them? Its not even close to the same thing.

Thanks for walking Bradley

Fontenot is at fault because you're taught to freeze on a line drive, not take a couple steps towards third. He was trying to be aggressive and keep his chances alive of scoring on that had it gone over Hardy's head.

His first instinct should have been to go back to second. It wasn't and he got burned.

It's just a hard luck turn of events for us. It happens.

So was Bradley losing the ball in the sun (which can happen to any outfielder) but a bunch of people saw fit to complain about that and tell Bradley to go eff himself.

Come on, you're just angry because it didn't work out for us. We all are.

But seriously, tell me what the difference is.

Are you implying that the stereotype of Cubs fans is true?

(btw, I'm completely kidding)

It doesn't have anything to do with Fonty's baserunning. I don't even know why you are bringing it up.

Thanks for walking Bradley

Well, considering the number of domes and afternoon/night games, obviously it's getting doubled off. But if every game was played in the middle of the day, it would happen a lot more often. We just see it more because the Cubs play a ton of day games and we're Cubs fans.

Walk Bradley to get to Soto? I don't understand this at all.

For me that just makes his year even more frustrating. He's got the reputation for a reason.
