The All Star Game is often embarrassing, but I can't imagine anything more embarrassing than how well Soriano did in the voting.

If Fontenot was close enough to second to get back,no way he would have scored if it got through

Then you take your chances with Hill up, the bases loaded and one out.

Fuld hit that on the button. That's almost always a single short of what happened happening: the infielder making a perfect leaping stab at it. You can't gamble like that's likely to happen when a single is the far more likely outcome whenever a ball is hit like that in that direction.

Yeah, I don't want my baserunners playing to the 10% chance over the 90% chance.

Yeah if that get's through, its possible that Fontenot needs every inch of that break to score on Cameron's arm.

Fontenot is at fault because you're taught to freeze on a line drive, not take a couple steps towards third. He was trying to be aggressive and keep his chances alive of scoring on that had it gone over Hardy's head.

His first instinct should have been to go back to second. It wasn't and he got burned.

It's just a hard luck turn of events for us. It happens.

So was Bradley losing the ball in the sun (which can happen to any outfielder) but a bunch of people saw fit to complain about that and tell Bradley to go eff himself.

Sure it can happen to any outfielder, but it happens to Bradley more than it should. He should know how to deal with the sun by now.

Have you seen how many votes Jimmy Rollins has received and how poorly he's playing?

Rollins is making Soriano look like an All-Star.

Yeah I'm really glad he got the start today.

Come on dude. Fuld has made 2 outs in every trip to the plate today, while Soriano has only made 1. Soriano is actually twice as effective as Fuld today.

No, actually, I'm not.

Tell me what the difference is?
