that 04 team was so freaking brutal to watch. It angers me just to think about them.

I'd rather go through 1000 2006 seasons than another 2004.

An '04 repeat is a possibility. All they need to do is get into a fight with Brenly, stay in the WC race, get healthy for the last 3 weeks of the season to get our hopes up.......then blow about 10 games to under .500 clubs and fall out of it.

I've never been a Z fan.

Still, this seems like a non-issue considering his standing.

It's really weird but this team really does feel like a sham. I'd like to I hope theres some mid-season trade that doesn't make me feel this way.

Send his butt down. it's what we did with Patterson. Hell we basically cut Vizciano for the same thing.

Wouldnt he have to clear waivers and agree to be sent down?

Yeah, there is no way it is happening. Just more me being frustrated with Z since he just gave a huge speech about how he needed to grow up and be a leader or whatnot and then within a week this happens. Grow up Z.

Has anyone talked about this beyond Paul Sullivan? I can't stand the guy and wouldn't put it past him to either be lazy and not look into why Z missed the team flight or to blow something relatively minor out of proportion so that he could meet a deadline.

I'll second this.

The day he stops writing will be one of the watershed days in modern journalism.

I hope I missed some sarcasm in this.

Turns out Z really didn't need to be in Atlanta in the first place. Maybe he just has ESP and knew that the game would be rained out. :D
