Cribbed from other parks. The experience of sitting out in the sun, drinking beer and watching the sporting event with other fans in non-assigned seating? That's duplicated all over the world in almost every sport. Fair point, but if you aren't sitting in them, I'm not sure how it affects your experience. Don't like it, personally. Falls under the category of "old for old's sake." Almost every park does this. That was on my list of things I do agree is awesome about Wrigley. They've been doing this for awhile. I've never had a problem being distracted at sporting events unless I wanted to be, but others' mileage may vary. Wrigley also cribbed this. Don't think I've had one, can't comment. My point here isn't that people shouldn't like Wrigley. How has Lou been the single best thing? Aramis Ramirez has had by far a greater impact on the team, same with Zambrano. I heard the same nonsense about Dusty back in 2004 when people were all giddy about actually finishing over .500 in back to back seasons. OK you are probably right the players do play the game yaknow. Iguess I just got too riled up. i will scale it back.

i met nick saban once at a planet hollywood-type establishment on suth padre island and i don't believe for one second that he would do something like this. he was there alone, but one of my friends recognized him and called hm over to our table and he talked with us and bought us drinks for like 2 hours! he was so nice! he was really sad to see us go and he kept saying us girls could hang out with him anytime nick saben :good:

Doesn't Milton have a games-played clause this season that guarantees the final year of his contract? I'm guessing he'd be against going on the DL so he can reach that limit. I think he only needs to play in 75 games each year to guarentee the third. He'd likely easily hit that if he did a 14 or 30 day DL stint. They gotta put him on either one until he can get as close back to 100% Bardley-style he can be because right now it looks like he can't do squat and like he's playing in pain. i thouht it sounded funny so i binged it (bing!) and it turns out the dl is 15 days not 14 learn something new every day :stickman:

Glavine is a true gentelemen in a sport of jerks. i met him once at a restaurant in key west florida and he could not have been nicer. I used to have a picture of us together but unfortunately i have lost it somewhere.

Sammy was never a team player and never will be. i say good riddance to this worhtless CHEAT (and thats what he is, a dirty cheat) and hope that he goes away and never comes back.
