Here comes the 3-run homer by Dempster.

 

There's about a 50% chance Weaver walks him, which would be amazing.

I'm not seeing the greatness that is the 2009 Dodgers.

Yeah we should have won the first game as well as the next two.

The greatness comes from getting to play most of your games against the NL West. Pretty crappy division so far this season.

Like I said during our losing streak, they've been feasting on the NL West in the early going without playing any halfway decent teams. They were a great candidate to help the Cubs get over their losing streak at home (along with the PIrates).

Well, they did lose Manny.

 

Also there's the fact that 3-4 games doesn't tell you much of anything about how great or how bad a team is.

Yeah, but with the lead they have in that division, you sure expect more when you see them play over 3-4 days.
