Well, that was a moderately surprising victory. That said, thanks to their inability to score more than two runs despite having two or three really great chances, they will for now remain the "Cobs." I'm going to go ahead and keep this game thread short and to the point as well, cause it seemed to work for the previous game.

I believe tomorrow is a Buck/McCarver boogaloo, so "able to watch" may be giving it too much credit.

 

What? Baseball? Meh. This strikes me as the sort of game where the Cubs are going to get guys on base up the wazoo but still be held to 1-2 runs.

That's too many runs by the Cobs...I'll cut it in half & say they win 3 1/2 - 3 (Cobs awarded 1 1/2 runs on a Dempster solo shot a/c such a miraculous thing happened)
