Erick Bledsoe just chose Kentucky over Memphis. Wow Cal is good. I'd like to know how he convinced the second best PG in the class to come and be a backup.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

But how much money will this cost him in the long run? Bad decision on Bledsoe's part. He'll back up Wall this season and then probably Brandon Knight next season. He'll more than likely be over recruited his entire time at Kentucky.

Well, they haven't got Wall yet. They probably won't. Duke is in on him too and he isn't even elligible as of yet. Plus he wants to try and go pro immediately. I think it was pry an easy sell.

I don't know why you'd say he probably wont. Everyone seems to believe Wall is going to Kentucky. Just seems odd for a five star recruit to sign with a team where there's a good possibility that he'll see limited playing time.

No more Blake Griffin = last place. :bye:

Don't you guys add a stud class and return Warren? I imagine you will still be pretty good.

Yea, Capel can recruit. My statement was made kinda tongue-in-cheek. Mason-Griffin and Gallon shouldn't be bad players coming in, and Warren is staying.

Taylor Griffin graduated, shnsajax.

UK has a good shot as does Duke as well as Florida. Wall has always wanted to play for Calipari, Duke has location, etc.

He'll make his decision at some point later this month. UK has the #1 recruiting class & with Wall, it probably only trails the Fab Five as the best class of the last 20 years.

beats talking illinois basketball.

Hell yeah, one of us is gonna win at least 5 games this year. You decide which one.

yeah, well so what

Eh, we won't be great either. Hopefully a second round tourny team. That and getting the three guys from '10 signed would mean a successful year to me.

Oh and Mike Shaw committing would be ok too.

Just so many red flags. Hell he is looking for loopholes to go right to the NBA. He also is not qualified. Plus there is Duke recruiting him too. I would say those three things would make it safe to say probably won't end up at Kentucky.

Since the early entry deadline has passed, I don't think there's any chance Wall can go to the NBA now. He probably had a legit chance too beforehand.

Yeah, hell he might end up at UK. I am not saying that's impossible. I just don't think it is a done deal. He asked Carolina to start recruiting him again. If he was so sold on Cal he probably wouldn't be doing that. Plus Cal just added another stud point guard, so he is preparing like he won't have him. Just my opinion though.

DePaul, coming off an 0-18 Big East campaign, lost its 2 top players to the draft (Dar Tucker & Mac Koshwal). Is it possible they win less than 5 games total this year? It certainly is. DePaul Basketball, its Fantaaaaastic.

The NCAA has decided that if a player is fouled and hurt too badly to take the free throws, the opposing coach can choose the free throw shooter among the remaining players on the court. Yes, let's give incentive for fouls hard enough to injure another player!

How about let's give incentive for Hasheem Thabeet and his ilk not to fake injuries so better shooters can shoot the free throws, then come back into the game 30 seconds later?

Id like to see college adopt the continuation rule like the NBA. More excitement added, plus it rids the game of a cheap way to play defense and not really being penalized.

Man let it go, Hasheem is gone now.

I'm just saying. He's almost certainly a big reason for this rule change, having done the fake-injury thing twice in the 08-09 season.

It was reported yesterday that Patrick Patterson will return to UK instead of turning pro. =D>

Unless Calipari doesn't think he'll be a "good fit" for the program.
