This WCIU nonsense needs to stop. Ugh.

No kidding. I'll pony up for MLB.tv eventually, but until then, the lack of WGN games is annoying.

As soon as I move to New Orleans at the end of May I'll buy MLB.tv. I won't be subject to any blackouts :yahoo: \:D/ :D :good:

Unless you fall into one of MLB.tv's inexplicable blackout black holes, that is.

Any word on the weather conditions? Sanchez gives up a lot of flyball outs. Will the winds be gusting towards the OF by any chance?

Temps around 6, with 7 mph wins out of the ENE, which is in from center/right field.

Would it help if I pretended that was meant to be celsius?

That's still really cold.

What is that, mid 40's? Not that bad.

But yeah, I meant 60F, not sure how I missed the 0.

How come whenever I am actually able to watch they play on a dumb channel. Oh well, I get to watch tomorrow I guess when we will inevitably get shut down by Lincecumb.

I'll be watching this game on the out-of-town scoreboard at the Nats' park. Heading out now to go see the Nats-Stros. I'm hoping it gets rained out so I can talk my Stros fan friend into going out and finding scalped tickets to the Caps-Penguins.

Let's hope the Cubs' offense sucks less.

I don't think that's the case. New Orleans has been marked by MLB as a Housto Astros and Texas Rangers market.

Dempster pitches 7 strong innings, Bradley goes 2-4 with 2 doubles, and Fontenot hits a walk-off homerun. Cubs win 4-3.

Everyone rejoices because baseball is fun again and completely forgets that they were 5 seconds from jumping off a bridge at the end of last week.

Fred may have beaten me to it, but I believe the Cubs are unbeaten this year when facing guys named "Sanchez".
