I officially apologize to anyone that was annoyed with my past pessimistic irrationality.

The main reason I visit game threads is to remind myself that no matter how bad I feel during/after a cubs loss, somebody is feeling worse and/or overreacting far more.

 

It's kinda like watching The Jerry Springer Show when you are feeling bad about your own screwed up life to remind you that it could be a whole lot worse.

Pretty much.

 

When the Cubs play like this it's incredibly frustrating, but the game threads (and now many of the other threads, too) act as a kind of therapy where I can see just how absolutely bonkers some people get.
