enough with the night games already

This.

 

Looks like I'll be bored out of my mind at work again today. And I've got class tonight so I'll miss the first few innings.

 

If baseball was meant to be played at night, there would be enough light in which to do so.

 

1:20 games at Wrigley are how it's supposed to be.

 

It's kind of weird. I'm an ultra-purist on some things, but yet I'm in favor of things like interleague play.

 

CUBS are 5-1 at night and 3-3 during the day, and you want to stand on tradition ???

 

Plus, I pretty much only get to watch night games (except on weekends). The more night games, the better.

3B - Ramirez

C - Soto

2B - Miles

SS - Theriot

P - Lilly

 

 

I'm guessing on the 6-8 spots because I didn't hear exactly, although I know that Miles is playing.

What an unbelievably stupid decision by CSN. At the very least, start the Hawks game on + and make the switch over when the Cubs end.

Samardzija coming up tomorrow. Neal Cotts not the corresponding move, could be Viscaino (per CSN speculation).

 

And Bruce basically confirmed it in his blog.

 

Given how little Vizcaino has pitched, I really don't see much of a point with this. Samardzija needs to work on his secondary stuff and I am still concerned about how effective he will be in the long haul in the bullpen at this point.

I don't understand it either. I've never been a big Vizcaino fan but we're starting to run out of adequate options now that we've cut out Gaudin and Vizcaino. Hopefully Samardzija can in some way repeat his 2-ish ERA from last year. Though I doubt it.

I hate CSN+. They are playing a replay of Chicago Tribune Live until 8. You're telling me they can't switch to the Cubs game until the Hawks start?! Pat & Ron for me tonight.
