I'll never understand taking on 3-0 when a pitcher is pitching well and you're a power hitter. Soriano took a 3-0 meat pitch earlier in the game and now Lee takes one. Why let the pitcher get a strike across? If he's pitching well, it will probably be the only good pitch you'll see.

Last night was pretty solid.

 

You should be happy that the Cubs have been winning despite not playing their best baseball. You and I know the Cubs are quite capable of playing better than they have been. When your 4 and 6 hitters are a combined 4-47 with 1 extra base hit, you know you will improve quite a bit as the season progresses.
