Maybe now you guys realize why its so much fun for me and others to read your stupid overreactions in gamethreads and postgame threads.

Oh yes, if only we could all be like you....

I don't believe those are his actual reactions to the live broadcast. Think about it, if Pujols was up in that situation with a man on first base and he had been having such a horrible day at the plate don't you think you wouldn't be so depressed before he hit the homer?

Also, he seemed to accept the fact that the groundball from Greene was going to be a double play as soon as it was hit. When he hit it, I didn't think they were going to get him at first and was totally surprised when he was out, especially by so much. Judging by the game thread, most people felt this way.

I don't buy that those were his live reactions.

I am very happy with myself that I have decided to not record myself watching Ballgames and posting them on youtube. I think this may be the soundest decision I have made in my life.

what is odd is that he actually does seem to have some solid baseball logic

I don't really see what was quite so funny about it. Sure, when he started yelling profanity I chuckled a bit, but he doesn't seem like a whackjob, and replace the names of the Cardinals players in that rant with some Cubs players, and you pretty much have a game thread after a tough loss.

Yeah, and the game threads after a loss are hilarious.

Was he watching the game live and making those predictions that came true? If so, that's pretty impressive. Otherwise if he was watching a replay and making it seem like he's watching it live, then that's just sad.

However, if you just take his analysis by itself, you'll be hard-pressed to find anyone who disagrees. He knows his team, and that's saying more than a lot of fans.

This. I don't buy "knowing" Soriano is going to homer when he'd had a terrible day and the count was 1-2. And then he goes on ragging on Perez because Soriano hit a shin high slider out. He's really just an obnoxious prick.

With absolutely no self-awareness. It really is amazing how people like that can function in society.

I just think its great that this guy thinks he has a couple hundred people watching his videos every time, not knowing that almost all of them are us

I was thinking that too. Its like he predicted everything was going to happen and reacted as if he knew it was coming, like he scripted it. Had the show been on the other foot, and I knew a Pujols go ahead homer was coming, I wouldnt have the yup, I knew it was coming reaction as he did. Had he been watching live, he would have had a lot more of a reaction when Soriano hit his shot, especially knowing how irational the guy is. He also called the Khalil Greene DP a bit too well.

As I said before, I don't think the reaction during the Soriano HR was genuine, but I could at least possibly see that reaction. However, the Greene reaction made it very unbelievable.

I agree with Erik. I assure you, if you go back into some of our old game threads, especially the ones that were locked up, you'll find a lot more over reactionary than Elias here. The only reason you wont find any profanity is because its filtered out.

Right, and Erick was the one reacting that way.

Right, because I'm the only one who does that in game threads.

Care to go back and look at the Milwaukee loss or the first loss of the Cardinals series and then come back here and say that I'm the only one doing it?

Hahahahahahaha, the very fact that you realize that you're "doing it" and you still can't help yourself is really hilarious
