Why throw home off your back foot when you know your arm isn't strong enough to do that when you can attempt to turn a double play?

We all complain about Soriano but who really needs to be moved down in the order is Lee, my god between last years, "lee with a grounder to the shortstop, second, double play". I would much rather have Ramirez or Bradley there, hell even Soto

attempt to start a double play with his poor arm when braun has pretty good speed, hit the ball to the third base side of SS and didn't hit it particularly hard? if they'd tried to turn the DP braun would've been safe by a step and a half and you'd be here bitching that theriot didn't throw home.

Don't forget Soriano for breaking in at first on that ball by Weeks. I'm pretty sure he has that if he judges the ball better off the bat and runs the correct route to the ball.
