I'm Stunned!

What are you going to bitch about when DLee starts hitting again?

I'm worried that he'll never be able to hit again. He hasn't hit in 11 months.

I know it's only the fourth game of the season, but some kind of change needs to be made with Lee. A day off or hitting him later in the order. He has been BRUTAL.

We all know K. Hill isn't a great offensive catcher but I'd take him over Bako any day.

Absolutely yes.

Hill can be above average for a backup catcher... Bako wouldn't be above average with the bat in AA.

you actually think that's going to happen?

I think he'll be a .825 to .850 OPS guy with subpar range at first but great receiving skills. Pretty much the same guy he was last year... overpaid, but couldn't be much less of a problem to this team.

What I am convinced that will change are the absurd GIDP tendencies he showed last year that were completely out of whack with his career numbers.

I've never really paid too much attention to Bradley throughout his career, but when they said he was a patient hitter, I had no idea he was this good. I don't think he's swung at a bad pitch all year.

Damn, Great play by Weeks.

milton bradley is so awesome.

and it's just a matter of time before lee is moved down, provided that ramirez is still ramirez and soto gets more seasoning.

What about moving Rami to the 3 hole and Soto in the 5, move Lee to the 7? I said that before the season started.

when did weeks learn to play defense?

I know right? Between Weeks making that play and Braun making that catch earlier I'm wondering if someone is out to get the Cubs.

I don't know. He just doesn't seem to be able to get any lift on the ball any more. These balls that he's rolling over to SS are pitches he used to drive into the gaps on a consistent basis. In the first four games this year that doesn't seem to look any different from last year. I hope you're right, but I really have no confidence in him anymore.
