Hopefully all his Cardinal magic is dried up and we can continue our offensive explosion

Go Cubs!

Signing mediocre veterans right after they leave the Cardinals on a high note is a stupid idea. (And yeah, Looper had a losing record, blah blah blah. Fact is, he was still much better than he should've been by any logical reason in that role.)

As long as Harden is somewhat effective, we'll be fine.

So you got a picture of Harden from when he was on the A's and changed it to a Cubs uni even though there are pictures of him in a Cubs uni already, but then you used a Cards picture of Looper...

Predictions-

Milton Bradley goes 2-4 with a walk

HRs for Soriano, Ramirez, and Fontenot

Kosuke 2-5

Harden 6IP w/8K 2ER

Jason Kendall goes 3 for 5 and throws out Ryan Theriot twice

Vizcaino makes his debut and has 1 solid inning, and goes back out and gives up 2 ER before Marmol bails him out with 2 on and 1 out

Kevin Gregg gives us a scare but nails down the save

Cubs win 7-5

Should be a good series. I caught parts of the Cubs/Astros series and thought they looked as good as ever. The Giants series didn't go as well as I liked, but it's early and there were some positive things (Weeks routinely going the other way for the first time in three years, Cameron making nice contact). Can't say I have much confidence in anyone in the bullpen, though, and I don't like the idea of Suppan pitching the series finale. I'll say the Cubs win the series, but the Brewers win tomorrow's game.

Just a gut feeling?

Zambrano vs. Bush seems pretty favorable to us. *shrug*

No sorry please pick another game. I'm going to Saturday's game and the Cubs have never lost when I've seen them in Milwaukee.

Stupid work schedule. Just got home an hour ago, and I have to be back in at 11 tonight. I guess I'll be DVR'ing and catching up on the game over breakfast.

The game starts at 3:00. Are you expecting an 8+ hour game?
