Milton Bradley - hitless. (though he does have 4 walks)

He's put up a pretty good 0 for 9 - if there is such a thing. He's worked counts, got robbed of two RBI double last night by the ump and still has managed an OBP over .350. I like what I've seen. The hits will come.

Is everyone now going to be on Fukudome's jock again after last night's performance?

Probably. The same way people concluded he'd be terrible after the first two games of the season.

I can only speak for myself. I liked what I saw last night, and I hope like hell he can continue it. But just like it took me a while to lose confidence in him, it's going to take some time to rebuild it.

I don't think anyone was concluding that based only on the two games from this season.

Soto. Please don't be injured :beg:

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the Cubs are bracing for the possibility that Geovany Soto (shoulder) could land on the disabled list.

Soto had a similar shoulder issue while he was in Triple-A, and it cost him a little over a week. ''From talking to him, it lasted a week or so [the first time],'' manager Lou Piniella said. ''Let's hope it doesn't. If it's going to be that long, I'm not so sure we can stay with one catcher.'' Koyie Hill filled in Wednesday and Mark Johnson is just a phone call away.

If he has to take a week off, I'd rather it be now than late in the season. Just get healthy Geo.

We could still have Soto catch. Just have Cutler standing next to him to make the throws to 2nd.

Problem solved.

Outs on the basepaths.

Bumping to reinforce this. It absolutely needs to stop. It's getting ridiculous.

Lou really needs to stop with the hit and runs. He's wasting outs left and right. Also, the players need to stop being idiots. I'm looking at you Riot and Fontenot.

I still can't get over how stupid Fontenot was yesterday. I just cannot fathom how a MLB baseball player can think it's a good idea to go to third on that play.

his quote after the game was kind of questionable too. it seemed like he was more upet that the throw got him than he was with himself for being stupid

I think the team needs to go to dinner together tonight. Talk about things. Have a mini meeting. And then watch these videos. I think that will help them the rest of the weekend and the season.

Can they please find someone to hit in the 3 hole? Hell Koyie Hill is better than Lee is right now

.500/.538/.900 with a 2B, HR and 3 RBI in his last 3 games.

Of course 3 games is a small sample size, just as 9 games is a small sample size.

I'm worried about the bullpen. It sucks and will probably suck all season long.

2003 style. I am still trying to figure out which one is Mark Guthrie and which one is Dave Veres.

I've been worried about the bullpen for a long time. I'm hoping Guzman can throw more strikes but walks have periodically been a problem for him. If Guzman steps up the bullpen looks a lot better. However, I'm still more worried about Fukudome and the health of the team more than anything else.

Pray 7

Marmol 8

For all those bullpen crybabies:

Our bullpen has a 2.79 ERA.

If you take out Kevin Gregg they have a 1.80 ERA.

What's the problem?
