I'm watching and I really don't see National Player of Year skill or talent in Hansbrough, how did he win it in 2008?

The voters declared Michael Beasley ineligible for the award for reasons we have not yet been told.

Games, over, congrats to UNC but, I'd still like to see someone dunk in Hansbrough face.

just wait until November

You've got a point.

So much for MSU giving UNC a game.

On another note, does Michigan State have any guys who could/would jump to the pros this year? If not, I think they said during the telecast that MSU has only one senior so if everyone returns — and since I know Izzo usually graduates most of his players, I'm assuming this is fairly likely — they've got to be considered one of the favorites going into next year.

I don't doubt that those buffoons said MSU had 1 senior, but it's not true.

Suton and Walton are graduating as are bench guys Ibok and Gray.

Im 95% sure that's exactly what they said.

So how much has Lawson helped his stock with his play in the tourney? First point guard taken?

He can flat out run a team and although his release is slow he's a dead eye set shooter. I think he's definitely a top 10 with an outside shot at top 5 depending on who declares and team need.

Ricky Rubio will still go ahead of him. But, I think Lawson will the be the second point guard tkaen.

Wow, you guys are much higher on Lawson's pro prospects than I am.

I'm not much of a fan of his pro prospects either.

I think he's like Raymond Felton except better in almost every conceivable way. And Felton went 5th overall. Ford went in the top 10 too.

He does differ from other short guys like Augustin or Nate Robinson in that he's not going to be much of a one-on-one scorer. But I think he's definitely a good starting PG on the pro level.

The team that drafts Lawson in the top-10 will be disappointed. Just as the Bobcats have been disappointed with Felton and just as the Bucks -- then Raptors, then Pacers -- have been disappointed in Ford.

I also think you underestimate Felton's talents.
