You know I thought about that after I answered his question. If he can post on nsbb then he can clearly check espn for the scores. But i did nothing about it.

Any other Chicago people have their Comcast cable go out tonight? I had to watch the second half of the Michigan game at a bar because mine went completely out. Great comeback by Illinois at the end there, but Western Kentucky was the better team.

 

Hahahha, they absolutely were not the better team. If you want me to, I'll pull out every metric ever invented that shows Illinois was the better basketball team. Western Kentucky played the better game, yeah, of course genius, that's what the final score proves. Illinois was absolutely the better basketball team.

 

And people wonder why Michigan is hated universally, and their fans are treated as loudmouth [expletive] buffoons.

SSR might actually get me to the point that I will root against Illinois in future NCAA Tourny's.

 

Oh and Illinois without Frazier may just be a worse team that WKU. Illinois healthy obviously is the better team but without Frazier its very close.

If not for Digger Phelps and his ilk, Chris Kramer and his flopping, whining, Wojoesque mugging for the camera would definitely be enough to get me to root against Purdue from their basketball team to their women's fencing.

Exactly. Everyone knew this was a horrible draw for Utah because of how talented Arizona was.

 

Looks like I'll get this 5-12 right and the 7-10 right as well.

I'm almost mathematically eliminated from my pools and the first round isn't even over. Utah is another Sweet 16 team for me that went down. That entire state is killing me this year. Utah is out, BYU is out, Utah St. is out, Pomeroy is from Utah and his rankings are killing me so far (I know, sample size, etc., they usually are pretty good).

I'm starting to get my hopes up against Michigan State. Unfortunately, SC won't be able to work them on the glass like they did in the Pac-10 tourney and against BC.

 

And yeah, Al Skinner isn't a very good in-game coach. Len Elmore was semi-ripping him in the 2nd half.
