It's going to be real interesting to see how Tampa does this year. A rotation of Kazmir, Shields, Garza, Sonnanstine and Price is pretty solid. Last year was sort of a down year for BJ Upton, Carl Crawford and Carlos Pena. Between Longoria's late arrival and injury, they didn't get a full year out of him. Crawford showed up to camp in excellent shape.

 

Is this the last year in Tropicana, or are they moving into their new park this year?

He probably needs to be traded. Tex will man 1b. Matsui is locked in at DH. The outfield has Damon, Swisher, Cabrera, Gardner and X Nady. That's the one reason I stayed away from him. There are a lot of guys who I like a lot, but am concerned about playing time.

This has come up before and it was decided that in between seasons like those that do not qualify to lose an exemption year do not count against exemptions, so yes, I believe Choo is exempt for one more year.
