Not hearing great things about Vasher.

Lots of media guys have taken shots at him. I have to wonder if he's a potential camp casualty. Probably depends on Tillman's health, but man he sure seems to have taken he money and run.

That would be a surprise for me even if Tillman shows up healthy due to the uncertainty of Tillman's health and the lack of experience for Bowman and Graham.

Hmm, I saw him make a couple good plays, but admittedly I didn't spend all my time watching him.

I'd be shocked if he was cut given the situation right now, but we're going on years now with him either playing badly or not playing at all. I'm sure the clock is ticking. Maybe he's just not into it anymore.

He was never all that great of a corner. When he was intercepting all those passes, the defensive line was great and disruptive. Line has sucked and so has Vasher.

Agreed. Without the interceptions Vasher is below avg. He can't even tackle.

I made a horrible decision to buy Vash's jersey before the 2006 season. Even if he doesn't get cut, I can't wear that to a Bears game. I guess I'll have to throw it aside with my Ayenbadejo home jersey (bought halfway through his last season with the Bears) and my Ben Gordon Bulls jersey.

I saw someone wearing a Curtis Enis jersey at training camp. I'm pretty sure you can wear a Vasher.

But why you'd get Ayenbadejo (and why they would even sell it) is beyond me...

I loved his attitude and work on special teams. I didn't realize he was a FA after that season, which sucked because I found out 10 minutes after I got it. The good news is it was free because my friend worked at the customized jersey shop at Soldier Field and he made me one for free during a Bears game I was at.

So what the heck can you do about a guy who can't stay healthy? There's got to be something. Looks like Bowman has always been injury-prone. The kid has decent size, good speed -- he's looked great in camp.

Nutrition? Different exercises?

They've got to take some kind of action. We aren't going to find a solid CB on the street, and it could mean the difference between a playoff berth and watching at home. Especially the way things are in the secondary right now. We need this kid.

It depends on the injury. Hamstring, just hydration and stretching should help prevent those. The torn bicep he had last year, maybe just strengthening the muscle would help. Torn ACL, I don't know if you can do much to prevent or change the risk of it happening. There's really no explanation why some people seem to be more prone to these things than others.

Ebay it. maybe you can get something for it below he gets released. I doubt he will be with the bears longer than this year.

If it's anything like his last few "reports," be prepared to learn absolutely nothing new.

Yea but a lot of our players will be involved. There's an interview with Cutler and one with Urlacher and apparently some other stuff with defensive guys fooling around.

I don't think anybody expects to learn anything from ESPN.

I'll be happy if mort just repeats what we know, and doesn't try quote Denver's team record and apply it to Cutler. I figure that's all that can be expected. That said--I'm set to record :)
