I've generally thought of his Bear reports as a bit above many of the others.

I have too, but most recently, I think he's become more sensationalistic. I still like him, but like many on that station, he comes to some odd conclusions for the purposes of getting ratings...or at least that's the conclusion I've come to.

Yeah, but it hasn't just been him though.

OK, I'm going to file this into the "rumor and innuendo" file for now.

Well, now that you called out zaidman's tweet :)

I thought i read where Tommie is going through workouts similar to what he was doing during the season last year. So yeah he is going to be under a different workload this TC. This seems like a good idea to me. Its not like Tommie needs all the regular work anyway.

Zaidman said today that Cutler's preferred targets were, in order

Olsen, Hester, Bennett, Rideau, Aromashodu

Mentioned that Knox and Iglesias had shown flashes.... anyway, no mention of Davis. I think Davis drops too many balls for Jay's liking.

Total Access (on NFL Network) did a short piece on the Bears with Baldinger. Interviewed Urlacher and talked about Cutler and the receiving corps a little bit.

Look out for it on the replays, it was pretty positive.

I had no idea at all that we have had Aromashodu since December 9th of last season. Not the first clue.

Interesting. I didn't think Aromashodu had much of a chance to make the team. A lot of people thought he would really do a lot more on the Colts. He had 7 catches in 07, and looked to be a strong 3/4 in Indy depending on Harrison, but never saw the field in 08.

Hell he drops too many balls for my liking, and Im not the one throwing the passes.

You say that like he has maintained his Pro Bowl Caliber play despite much less than 100% participation in practice. I know he's hurt but I'd like to get Tommie Harris all the work he can get.

Actually, now that I know he's had knee surgery only a few months ago, I agree with Lovie that he should be given light duty until he's ready.

I just didn't realize that we were keeping offseason surgeries a secret now. I never expected that. But if the man's knee is still healing, then it's still healing.

Olsen has great hands and is both bigger and faster than Marshall, fwiw.

He's practically a wideout in a TE's body with his speed and receiving ability.

I believe Bennett to have pretty good hands and I think Hester's hands are underrated. He had a few big drops early in his career as a receiver and I think he also gets a bad rap because of the muffed punts now and then, but he should make enough plays to be a threat. I thought he caught the ball really well down the stretch last year.

The other guys (DA, Iglesias, Rideau, Knox) are said to have good hands but I've never seen them play.
