–The Twins are said to be willing to deal left fielder Delmon Young for a shortstop and two potential trade targets are Phillies prospect Jason Donald and Pirates veteran Jack Wilson.

-From BP http://www.baseballprospectus.com/unfiltered/?p=119

Too bad he's right-handed - looks like he can be gotten for a song (seriously, Jack Wilson?). He has been a bit disappointing and is not exactly an OBP machine, but hell, he's 22!

I've also seen that Chad Tracy is available - he could probably play RF?

I would trade Theriot for him, not sure what else it would take or even that the Cubs have. But I would gladly take him off the Twins hands.

Heck, if they are thinking Wilson, why not Cedeno?

I kinda like Stephen Drew for next year.

Copycat.

ive been on the stephen drew bandwagon since he got out of college. hated him prior to that though.

Edit:

Misread that one.

What would happen if we locked Tim Tebow and Stephen Drew in a room together and let them duke it out?

...I could have sworn that Wilson was traded to the Tigers?
It was reported that he was traded to the Tigers, but that report was later debunked.

As I have said before Young is a puzzling player who has great talent and a $.05 head, but Theriot or Cedeno for him would be worth the gamble. Doesn't fill our LH OF need, but I'd still do it.

Hahaha latest rumors have the Devil Rays interested in reaquiring Young.

Get Dukes as well as and the heart of the '06 AAA Durham squad is back, that squad is legendary in minor league circles for all the wrong reasons.

hmm what other bad apples were there...i know there are others im forgetting.

bj upton did some problems.

Dukes by himself was more than enough.

You throw one little bat at an umpire, and all of a sudden you've got an "attitude problem"... sheesh.

Young as a teammate is supposed to be a good guy, his teammates on that durham squad never had a problem with him and the media stuff concerning him was overblown.

And the best part is none of their problems can come close to the problems of their "could have been" teammate, Josh Hamilton.
