douchebag final rankings:

1. tim tebow

2(tie). everyone else

Sounds about right.

Oh and sure Meph, put Oklahoma ahead of a team they lost to (Texas), USC, and Utah. That sure makes sense.

meph's rankings aren't about making sense, or about wins and losses. frankly i'm surprised that washington didn't come in #2.

unfortunately i cant attack your post because its only going to embarrass you.

I'd rather have my opinion attacked than just being blatantly called dumb. If you really believe Oklahoma was the 2nd best team in the nation after tonight, then I don't really know what to say to you. Actually this sums it up right:

i swear nsbb is getting dumber by the day. 0/3 on the last three posters when it comes to thinking.

Attack the post, not the poster(s).

uh this rule doesn't apply to meph, haven't you paid any attention over the past several months?

to be fair he's contributing such a high volume of front page articles that we can live with his transgressions throughout the rest of the board.

If you want to talk about football, fine. If you want to bicker and insult one another, take it to PM's, or AIM, or whatever.

In any case, if the thread gets locked again, it's not getting unlocked.

I'm not understanding this. Are you saying we should all really believe that OU is the best team, even after losing the game?

Meh, I don't think OU is number 2, but you can make an argument they played just as well as Florida last night. If it wasn't for their follies inside the 5 yard line, it could have been a vastly different game. They certainly weren't the offense that they were against the weak Big 12 defenses, but they played better than 14 points last night. If Florida really is the best team, then OU didn't really play that much worse than the best team in the country with everything on the line.

That said, I'd probably have USC or Utah 2.

I think its safe to say that Tebow's performance last night was the greatest championship performance in the history of college football. Actually screw that, greatest football performance ever.

I'd go

1. Florida

2. USC

3. Utah

4. Oklahoma

5. Texas

And 3-5 are interchangeable, but I think no doubt it will be Florida and USC at 1 and 2

I would say its man's greatest achievement.

In 50 years, history books won't even bother covering 9/11 because the decade will be defined by Tim Tebow. In fact, since people still can't figure out what to call this decade (naughts? zero's?) they are just going to call it the Tebow's.

By mans greatest hero. Let's go to the Chase Daniel family and see what they think about this monumental achievement.

What? Team A loses two games, including one against Team B. Team B loses once. Explain how Team A can be ranked ahead of Team B.

Ole Miss beats Florida = Ole Miss is National Champion.... or something

Ole Miss was a damn good team by the way...I thought you said they'd struggle to out score Texas Tech? That never happened ha, but man did that loss look good at the end of the season for Florida

he better enjoy it because the '10s sure as hell are not going to be the tebow's. unless you count winning the grey cup a bunch of times.
