I coincidentally was looking at draft projections last night, and saw Cody going late first round. I think he was the third or fourth DT to go.

Yeah, in most I've seen B.J. Raji and Peria Jerry go ahead of him. I've also seen Sen'Derrick Marks go ahead of him (to the Titans, which I wouldn't mind).

Sen'Derrick Marks is - imo - the best defensive tackle in the 09 draft if he turns pro.

I like Marks quite a bit. And if the Titans let Albert go, we'll need somebody like him.

gerald mccoy, beyonces

(plz stay one more year, gerald :( )

I thought he was a true sophomore and not eligible for the 2009 draft.

But he's a beast.

Well, this is about a day late to the conversation, but apparently (according to other Mizzou sites) Pinkel won't offer Hazelton a scholarship? or something to that effect, thus making the interest one sided on Hazelton. I guess Pinkel doesn't want to use a scholarship on a player who's only going to play for one season. I think that's stupid, especially when someone with Hazelton's talent supposedly wants to come to Mizzou. But it's not my decision to make.

Nope, he's a redshirt.

"Y'all know what the word 'stressed' is spelled backwards? Desserts. I

just eat desserts... I went home last night and had some homemade

chocolate chip cookies. I had a Kit Kat bar. So that's how you deal

with stress: You take it, turn it around, have a few desserts and don't

worry about it."

Ahh, didn't realize that.

Well, he's probably better off returning for his RS jr season but he's probably a first rounder if he turns pro. I'd rather have him than the guys dew mentioned earlier (BJ Raji and Peria Jerry).

Pinkel is an idiot.

Most OU fans agree.

So the talent gap between Mizzou and OU is non-existent, its the coaching that proves the difference? Stupid post.

Wow that Big Mo guy is fat. Freakin fat. I like that guy and the highlight is sweet.

Ted Washington and Pat Williams are huge but really fat around the waist This dude is huge and fat everywhere. :-))

Iowa State hired Paul Rhoads, Auburn's DC, as head coach. Not the most exciting hire, and most people including me wanted someone with head coaching experience. On the plus side his defenses have been good where he's been, and he's an Ankeny native with Iowa State ties, so he might stick around for more than two years. Hopefully he can recruit and turns out better than the last DC ISU hired. I'm cautiously optimistic right now.

On paper it looks like a pretty good hire to me. Again though I would be a bit concerned about the lack of head coaching experience. It's pretty similar to Chizek except he doesn't have the hot name and has Iowa roots.

I'll be interested to hear the guy talk. When I keep seeing "charismatic and energetic" mentioned repeatedly I see Tim Brewster or a similar salesman.

BYU really has a big advantage over every non-BCS school with the 2 year Mormon mission factor. Their players are all completely physically developed by the time they are ready to contribute.

Their offensive line is NFL-big.

i think it's funny that byu keeps playing in the las vegas bowl. don't they want to bring out a fan base that will do stuff like gambling and drinking?

It's too bad they've ostracized Jim McMahon from the program because he could make up for the entire do-gooder fan base in those two areas.
