Steven Threet was 4* RS Freshmen recruit for Michingan this year too. RS freshman no matter how many stars arent a given.

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Threet transer from Georgia Tech? And correct me if I am wrong but Threet skill set is NOT made for Coach Rodriguez system?

A guy down the road from me has a mailbox that looks like an Alabama helmet. Somebody (most likely LSU fans) kept beating it up. The guy put a note on it saying that they should stop b/c it is a crime. I was driving the other day, and was behind a cop. The cop stopped at the mailbox, and I could see him reading the note. He started laughing and drove away. He was most likely an LSU fan himself. I thought it was pretty funny.

I hate OU, but I respect the hell out of them, Stoops, and Bradford. Bradford is probably my favorite OU player ever which really sucks too :-).

Yes he did transfer from GT. He was class of 2007. A RS fresh this year.

Rods system is adaptable towards the QB talent. Pat White is not exactly the true model he is looking for.

Counting on a RS freshman QB is really optimistic, thats all im saying.

Last year Ole Miss didn't have a QB and they had Ed Orgeron coaching instead of Houston Nutt. That's an incredibly huge difference.

 

I don't know how soundly Ole Miss would win this year, but I think they'd have a real good chance to pull it out.

I hardly think Ole Miss would beat Mizzou solidly as Meph says. I think at this point it'd be a toss-up and it'd be a terrific game.

 

At the start of the season I'd definitely bet on Mizzou, but the way Ole Miss finished out the season, routing LSU in Baton Rouge and completely embarrassing Mississippi State (not that hard to do this year, but having more points than the other team has total yards is a complete bitch slap), I'd imagine a head to head match up right now would be extremely close and I'd have a hard time picking who would win that game.

In key games Mizzou has been unbelievably predictable: Let Daniel drop back 50 times and pass. Given the outstanding pass rush that Ole Miss has, like Texas and OU, you have to like their chances at disrupting Mizzou's offense like Texas and OU did. Really, Ole Miss is a better football team right now. There's little reason to believe otherwise. Missouri hasn't beaten anyone. They lost to crappy Kansas and got embarassed whenever they played top fifteen competiton.

 

Ole Miss on the other hand, was in every game they played. Nearly knocked off top ten Alabama and knocked off top ten Florida. You can't understand the development of Jevan Snead either. Snead might be a tossup with Daniel at this point in their careers. Sneads been dropping NFL passes the last five weeks or so. His development has been instrumental in their rise. I like their chances against Tech in the Cotton Bowl.
