There's something very wrong about charging the field after beating Syracuse, to be honest. Even if it clinches the national championship game berth, I'd be embarrassed to charge the field after beating the Orange(men).

Eh, at this point I don't think you do anymore. You're going to be ahead of Texas next week in the polls, and probably ahead of Florida as well...or at least a virtual tie. Also, at the time Penn State was undefeated and Florida DID need style points.

If OU loses, then it's a tie between Texas and Tech for the South, Tech wins the tiebreaker head-to-head..
