Zook just had a really tough call to make. I think I agreed with it, but wanted to see what people thought.

 

Illinois set up in FG formation for a 55 yarder, they quick kicked and downed the ball inside the OSU 1. OSU was flagged for a penalty on the play which would then set up a potential 50 yard FG. Illinois declined and gave OSU the ball inside the 1 instead.

 

Now we did have the wind at our back, and our kicker had hit a 44(I think) yarder earlier with the wind fairly easily. But I'm a big fan of burying a team in their own territory. Thoughts?

 

I know Im late SSR, but yea I agreed with the call. Pin them down on the 1 and take the field position battle.

 

Oh and screw those refs Jesus. That late hit call was absolutely the most ridiculous call Ive ever seen.
