They aren't posted anywhere online that I can see, but ESPN News is reporting these are the NL Gold Glove winners...

C Yadier Molina

1B Adrian Gonzalez

2B Brandon Phillips

SS Jimmy ROllins

3B David Wright

OF Carlos Beltran

OF Shane Victorino

OF Nate McLouth

P Greg Maddux

EDIT: According to Rotoworld the AL Gold Glovers have been leaked... here they are...

C Joe Mauer

1B Carlos Pena

2B Dustin Pedroia

SS Michael Young

3B Adrian Beltre

OF Torii Hunter

OF Grady Sizemore

OF Ichiro Suzuki

P Mike Mussina

Michael Young will be the AL Gold Glove shortstop in balloting announced Wednesday.

ESPN won't be happy about the leak. Also winning Gold Gloves are P Mike Mussina, C Joe Mauer, 1B Carlos Pena, 2B Dustin Pedroia, 3B Adrian Beltre, OF Torii Hunter, OF Grady Sizemore and OF Ichiro Suzuki. Young is a terrible choice, perhaps even worse than Derek Jeter would have been. Orlando Cabrera would have been the safe pick for AL managers once again, but Jason Bartlett was the class of a very weak group of shortstops. Pena's inclusion over Kevin Youkilis is quite a surprise. We can only imagine it has something to do with Youkilis playing mostly third base at the time the balloting was done. The rest of the infield is fine, though Akinori Iwamura had a case at second. Hunter has been coasting on his reputation for a few years now, but it would have been stunning if he wasn't picked. Carl Crawford, Alex Rios and Carlos Gomez were all clearly more deserving.

Glaus was pretty damn good at third this year.

Wright:

159G | 114PO | 286A | 16E | 21DP | .962FP | .956lgFP | 2.52RFg | 2.23lgRFg | 2.51RF9 | 2.60lgRF9 | 159GS | 1433.3Inn

Glaus:

146G | 99PO | 279A | 7E | 27DP | .982FP | .956lgFP | 2.59RFg | 2.23lgRFg | 2.74RF9 | 2.60lgRF9 | 145GS | 1243.3Inn

He really was pretty damn good. I would dare say he was robbed.

I was hoping for Aramis to win a GG, but he had a few errors the last few weeks of the year that hurt his case. Hopefully he will get one eventually.

I've lost all respect for the award over the last couple years. It is plainfully obvious Glaus was head and shoulders above Wright. The award is given to the top fielders anymore. Its given to the all-stars who field good.

The only really bad choices are Gonzalez at first and McLouth in the OF (considering Beltran was already a CF, and much better). Fred Lewis, Randy Winn and Kosuke Fukudome probably deserved OF consideration.

Joe Sheehan was on ESPN News and he said he thought Chris Young of the Diamondbacks deserved consideration as well. I didn't follow him much this past season, was he really good in the field this year?

Personally, I think they need to limit the OF gold gloves to the actual positions. How often is a GG given to a corner OF more than a CF?

Actually, all 3 OF GG are CFs, oddly enough. So is Chris Young. Young definitely considered consideration also.

McLouth, oddly enough, comes up last among all major league CFs in RZR and +/- rating.

And I can't imagine what the hell GG voters were thinking at first base, when Berkman and Pujols were pretty significantly better than anyone else (well, and Teixiera, but he was traded to the AL).

ah yes, it's now far enough past the baseball season for everyone to have moved on to new sports, thus it must be time to announce the awards....slowly.....one day at a time......

Seriously, announce all this Howry on the day after the WS and be done with it. The anticipation isn't killing anyone

I see nothing wrong with keeping baseball in the news in whatever small way these awards do. What exactly is your complaint with it?

I agree with both of you. Holding off on handing out awards this late is silly, but at the same time I enjoy seeing baseball news on TV instead of college football or NFL. ESPN News spent a good half hour talking about the awards and interviewing some of the recipients. It was nice to watch in the middle of football mania

EDIT: Just noticed that Kouzmanoff did significantly better than Wright at 3B as well

They should have announced it last night and stole all of Obama's thunder.

Better yet, Obama should have announced it

BHO: I'm honored that all you wonderful people of this great land have deemed me worthy of holding this revered position... and... I'd just like to announce that David Wright screwed my boy, Troy Glaus, over on the NL GG balloting.

Well, Young is better than Jeter, and most of the good fielding SS were in the NL this year. Mike Aviles would've probably been a better choice.

Reputation reared its ugly head in the OF for the AL. The best defenders were likely Carlos Gomez, Franklin Gutierrez, and Carl Crawford. Ichiro wasn't a bad pick, but the others were...not so hot.

1B-2B-3B-C were all solid picks.
