I could not believe how many NL champs hats were floating around south jersey this past weekend. Everybody had them.

 

People still hate Ryan Howard. Makes me wonder if they'll drive him out of town like they drove Abreu out.

I was thinking that maybe only young players could be successful at TB because they don't know (at least not from experience) that their stadium and fans are terrible.

 

Also, that was ONE of the worst NA ever, but there have been worse.

Flippped away from the anthem but the introductions reminded me of a monster truck race or something. I guess kind of fitting in that hinky dome. I dont mind the Rays being there but I hate to see the World Series played on that field.

I am a firm believer that football or baseball should be played outside. Hell, in a perfect world they would play all NHL games on a pond.

Is the bottom of the second inning of game 1 too early to start complaining about the broadcast?

 

Whats with the primary up-high far away camera angle from behind the pitchers mound instead of the standard zoomed in view from left-center field? Pitcher on the left of the screen, batter on the right . It wasn't bad like this during the ALCS.

 

It's driving me crazy--you cant see the pitches break and you cant judge the top or bottom of the strikezone.

Tim McCarver told us today on PTI that he had "lost decibels of his hearing" doing the 1987 and 1991 World Series in Minnesota's dome.

 

I decided right there that I wouldn't allow myself to listen to any of his talking during this Series.
