Singletary finally gets his job! I hear they are working out a long-term deal for him to be the permanent head coach.

I love talking to Baylor alumni about Singletary and how they don't blame him for not wanting to take the job down their. As much money as the university makes and puts into other programs its like they gave up on football. He seems like the unanimous choice for the job too among them.

6-2 going into the bye week would be absolutely sexy. Make it happen, Panthers.

And please remember you're supposed to be good this week, Cowboys...I don't feel the least bit comfortable if Tampa Bay is still keeping pace with us.

Go Cards.

Sounds like Romo's going to miss this week's game against Tampa, so I would think the Bucs should be able to win that game quite easily. But with the unpredictability of the league this year, who knows? I'm hopeful that the Chargers can beat the Saints and that the Eagles can beat the Falcons. That would help a lot. Pittsburgh over the Giants would be appreciated too.

A lot of good games to keep me interested even though the whole NFC North is off this week.

The Cowboys game will be interesting this week. Wade Phillips has relieved DC Brian Stewart of the playcalling duties. Johnson and Martellus Bennett had a nice rhythm going late in Stl, hopefully that will continue. Hopefully we can get Roy E involved more this week too.

It barely felt like he was even in the game last week. Half the time I saw him he was on the sideline while the offense was on the field.

This week will show a little bit more about how good the Titans are. The schedule has been fairly weak so far this year, leaving many people (myself included to a degree) to doubt the validity of the Titans.

Well, the Colts may be down some this year, but they still have Peyton, Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne - and they may get Bob Sanders back this week (a Colt fan want to confirm/deny this, perhaps?). It'll be a tough game, but as long as the Titans can keep the big plays to a minimum, we should be able to win.

And the Titans just can't pass Philly and the Giants in DVOA. Tennessee's still the best team in the AFC according to it, but the margin has lessened as the Steelers draw nearer.

And Monday Night Football for the Titans!! Should be a good week!

That NFC South is turning out to be a pretty decent division.

Dew, it doesn't sound like Sanders will be back this week.

Joseph Addai (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday. Colts GM Bill Polian put Addai's chances at playing in Week 8 at "50-50."

Don't count on Addai returning to face Tennessee, but this is a promising development. Polian said the Colts will exercise caution and not rush Addai back because of the nature of his injury (a torn hammy). Still, Addai could be ready for Week 9 against New England, a game the Colts have targeted on their schedule for SS Bob Sanders (knee, ankle) to return as well. Oct. 22 - 5:04 pm et

Thanks Jim. Not glad he's hurt, but I like the sound of him missing this game. No offense, but it's likely the Colts will have all kinds of trouble stopping the Titan run game without him.

I will be at the Cowboys game with one of these.

I will also be in a full Darth Vader suit.

You'll look extremely nerdy.

And I mean that in a good way.

If you get a chance in Grapevine run by Bonedaddy's for lunch or dinner. I need to make that a weekly requirement for myself.

If you need somebody to go with you I'm free this weekend. I'm gonna cheer for the Bucs though.

My brother-in-law is going this week. In fact, I'm taking my daughter with me to NRH this weekend with me. My wife's parents are coming in and want to see her. My wife had to work, so I'm taking my daughter and then try to stay away from the in-laws until I come home after the game.

I don't like the buy week after the game we played last week. But it will give time for A-Rodg to heal up his shoulder more and hopefully we have Bigby and Harris healthy for Tennessee in 2 weeks. After this week we have a pretty tough schedule..

@ Titans

@ Vikings

vs. Bears

@ Saints

vs. Panthers

Not to excited about that.

And Vance... HAHAHAHA! You better have a picture.
