37,881. Wonder if they'll get to me this season...

Since its free to sign up for the list(unlike the Bears or Hawks) I would think maybe 1 out of every 10 people on the list would actually decide to become season ticket holders. With the team getting good, as others have said, the renewal rate will be higher. I'm just totally guessing on all of this though.

That must've been a little bit ago, because I just signed up at was given ~69,000

I signed up 9/2013 (I think) and had that number as of the last time I checked which was sometime this summer.

Something's not right. I signed up in 2011 and I'm at 55,000

You must have signed up later than that. I signed up Jan 2, 2012 and I'm at 51404.

My ticket prices went up about $200/ticket, but I'm ok with that. They added another tier of pricing in the Terrace Reserved IF called Terrace Reserved Preferred and my seats fell in there. I think this will help my resale value by more than $200 over the season because these seats are way better (you can see fly balls) than the majority of Terrace Reserved IF.

Can you purchase somebodies rights to season tickets so they are in your name?

If so, have you seen how much people will charge usually for you to take over their tickets?

No, you can't do that, and you can't will them to a family member either. There is no system for transferring ownership that I am aware of.

Well that sucks, but I assume it's easy to loophole around. Just take over the original ticket holder's payments and he gives them to you I'd assume.

I couldn't find it immediately by Googling, but how many new seats will the Wrigley renovations add, prospectively?

Didn't Mojo just say that they changed the name (to another from his group) his tickets were under or something?

Yeah, these tickets came up on my uncle's number but my name was all over everything last year. This year I called our rep and switched it over to my dad.

I stand corrected! I suppose maybe they will be stricter about it when demand is back up, or maybe not.

I'm gonna see if I can't make it work, either with family living in the area or something. I actually think I got incredibly lucky and this could be the perfect time. My parents just fully retired, so maybe they'll be game.

Nuts - you did a partial package, right? Do you get guaranteed playoff tickets? Then you can change to a different package, or a full package, each year? Is that right?

Nah, we've done full packages both years, but yes, you have the option of changing your ticket package (and seat location and number of seats) between each season.

If you do a combo plan you get some but not all postseason games. I think you get 2 out of every series. Can't find the info on the website or invoice. I emailed my ticket rep. I'll let you know what I find out.

And we talked about going to a partial package for this season, but ended up getting the full one and donating a bunch of the games to charities. Obviously the write-off isn't near face value, but it helped take a lot of the sting out of a crappy season where nobody wanted to buy tickets.
