I'm 12/5 at 9am.

Last year they wouldn't let me switch from Daily to Combo -- here's hoping that they allow it this year.

Better not take my seats bro

Haha what section are you in? I'm in 433 now -- considering moving if I can get the Combo...

102/104... will upgrade to whatever i can if there is something available.

one thing i really liked about my seats were their proximity to the LF gate and the fact that a bathroom and a concession stand were right down the stairs on either side.

Yeah those are great. I have a similar situation with mine.

Just heard back from my rep -- they're only offering Combo in the Bleachers, unless you've had them there already. Lame.

If it weren't a business thing like it is with mine, I'd probably go that route for one more year. See how the prospects do, see if Bryant/Baez are up and have success, etc. See how the renovation/revenue stuff progresses and if they spend any money this offseason. Then jump back in next year.

Only 97,736 people in front of me! A couple more terrible seasons and I'll be in.

Anybody thinking of going to the Theo/Crane Kenney presentation in a couple of weeks?

Cliffs? I haven't heard of anything on this.

Check your email, but Theo/Crane are giving a free presentation to season ticket holders to discuss three topics: Baseball Updates, Baseball Facilities Updates, Wrigley Field 100 Celebration.

Hope some of you guys make it to the On Deck 2014 event and can recap it. Definitely would if I could, but I'm gonna be out of town.

If that's what's being discussed above is called then I should be able to make it.

I managed to keep enough of my group in; we're going to downgrade to cheaper seats in the hope things get better soon and just donate most of the tickets in 2014 to charity (LOL SORRY CHARITY) so we don't take as much of a bath.

Probably not the best place to ask, but when do they announce spring training schedules?

They typically would have announced already and other teams (most?) already have announced. Maybe it's an issue with the new stadium.

The A's say they are at the Cubs in a SS game March 4, but it is their only road game at the Cubs this spring. The White Sox site also only has them going to Mesa once, on the 27th.

i'm curious to see how many people either do not renew their season tickets this off-season or the ones that are chosen to purchase season tickets pass on the opportunity due to lack of cash or the poor play of the last two seasons.

i was chosen back in early 2012 to purchase season tickets and i had to pass because of friends bowing out at the last minute due to other obligations (read: becoming parents). i signed back up on the season ticket waiting list in february 2012 and my new number was 115,359. i checked back earlier this year and my number dropped to 83,859. i wouldn't mind dropping another 31,500 places over the next 2 or 3 seasons to hopefully catch the cubs being successful once again.

Was told this morning they will be reaching out to the first 30,000 on the waiting list this year. Since so many have been on the waiting list for 5+ years, a large majority they cannot get ahold of with old email addresses or phone numbers.

Not sure if this is new...but they are offering a nights/weekends package that amounts to 63 games good for only the bleachers. Tickets to 2 playoff games per series, but still first dibs on concerts, hockey/football games, etc. The guy said they are hoping to have 4 big concerts at Wrigley this summer with the 100 year commemoration.

Still on the fence (since I live in Denver), but probably going to pull the trigger on the partial plan. Sounds like they will also offer payment installments this year (not sure if thats new or not). 10% or more due by mid-December and installments of either 45/45 or 30/30/30 going into March.

On a sidenote, has anyone ever sold their entire plan at once? Is there a market this year for such a thing?

In years past, yes. Before I ended up as actually part of a package I would buy them or parts of them from season ticket owners. For several years me and group of family/friends bought 60+ games from single packages.

That's what I have. First got season tickets last year. And LOL at the "first dibs on concerts" crap. Sure you'll get a pre-sale password but that doesn't mean dick. I got completely shut out on the Pearl Jam pre-sale.

Really?

Seemed like everyone here that wanted them got through. You're the first I remember hearing otherwise from, tho I'm sure there are others.
