Hmmm...I want to Bulls to make the playoffs (even though a first round exit is the most likely scenario) but the playoffs gives a little bit more incentive to keep Del Negro which is bad.

I want to make the playoffs just to give Rose playoff experience at a young age something CP3 or Deron Williams never got until like their 3rd season.

Yeah and they suck. Think of how much better they'd be with 5 extra games under their belt. Especially if those 5 extra games were under one of the worst coaches I've ever seen.

Oh wait...

Luol Deng on his stress fracture.

I was under the impression that he didn't have a stress fracture. Now he does. Or does he?

He and Drew Gooden have not been cool with the Bulls medical staff's advice to toughen up. They say it's not fractured and he needs to rest it during the day, take it easy in practice but tough it out in the games and he thinks it's a fracture.

This story is interesting to me. Here we have a player who was once a rising star. Then his performance starts to wane. Now, he's convinced he has injuries he doesn't have.

He's not even close to the player he was just 2 years ago. Doesn't seem like he really even wants to play. This story certainly convinces me that he doesn't believe the Bulls have his best interests in mind.

I'd like to know what happened to the guy, what happened to the relationship. We've got a ton of cash invested in him. Are we just going to ride it out with him as deadweight on the roster? Personally, just looking at Deng from the outside, I would have said he was more likely to succeed in Vinny's loosely run outfit. Yet he was much more successful under the stern whip of Scott Skiles.

Like I said, it's interesting to me. What goes on with some of these guys.

Vinny is too stupid to draw up an out of bounds play that can get the ball into the hands of a primary ballhandler. Salmons is not a creator off the dribble at all...Wade owned him twice in the overtimes when he tried to attack.

Really lame finish to a great game.

It wasn't a three. He picked Salmons' pocket and hit a running/leaning 19 footer from near the top of the key as time expired.

He's just way too good. I knew he was going to win it as soon as he stole the ball from Salmons.

What was Gordon, Rose, and Salmons doing on defense tonight? I saw Ben just watch as Wade drove right past him and dunked. Ben literally just stood there. Thomas should have been in the game earlier. Almost all of Miami's baskets late in the fourth quarter and in both overtimes where right near the basket. Thomas was needed to defend the hoop. And when he did get in the game he had an immediate block and a dunk. The problem with Ben is that in crunch time he can't draw a foul and can't drive to the lane. Wade just torched them. I didn't know Brad Miller was this bad. All they do is put a pick up top and Brad gets lost in the shuffle. It was a good game to watch, but a poor ending to say the least.

so the last 2 times the bulls have played the heat they've had the ball with a chance to win it and the shot clock turned off, and both times they've not only not scored...but given the other team the victory

Yep, that sounds like a Chicago sports team.

Can you imagine a 7 game series with the Heat? Good lord they have played some good games this year. The Bulls must feel to DWade what the Cavs in the 80s felt to Jordan. I can't even get mad at that game. Gordon, Salmons and Rose did all they could offensively, except Salmons not being able to hold the ball. It's hard to win a game decided on the last shot when you don't get the last shot. Can only go to the well so many times.

LOL, I don't know why I'm laughing at this.
