The Bulls need to get to the pick and roll based offense earlier in games with Rose. That BS motion offense that we predominantly run is just a waste of his talents. Let him create and attack Vinny!

 

And if they could play with 50% of the defensive intensity they showed in the last 6 minutes they'd be just fine.

Blessing in disguise, IMO. If we play well without Deng, I think the front office will realize that he needs to be shipped in the summer. Plus Salmons is better than Deng anyway, so we won't lose anything from a production standpoint.

 

Great comeback tonight, but this team is soooo frustrating. You defeat Orlando and Houston but then you lose to New Jersey and Washington? I expect this team to blow one in a couple of days against Charlotte as well.

No one is taking Deng's contract. He has been injury prone, the economy stinks, and he will never be the player most people thought he would be. Salmons has better defensive skills, but I don't know if I want to put him up against 6-9 swingmen consistently.

I agree with CCF, it's amazing how far Lu has fallen. I don't think this team will suffer in any way by not having Deng around.

Comcast - Vinnie said, paraphrasing, he'll coach the team and make decisions as he sees fit. Nobody knows this team better than he (Vinnie does). Rose will play in the 4th quarter but he wants to do things, he'll do what he wants.

 

His demeanor was very firm, even defiant.

 

(Also I think somewhere in there, reiterated, he (Vinnie) decides who plays and when.)

 

If we don't make the playoffs Vinny is gone for sure.
