I love how so many people decided they needed to comment on that video, how Rose would get owned by Kobe and yada yada. What a bunch of douchebags. It's his 13th game in the pros and you feel like Kobe's "crown of greatness" is threatened suddenly? LOL.

I love how so many people decided they needed to comment on that video, how Rose would get owned by Kobe and yada yada. What a bunch of douchebags. It's his 13th game in the pros and you feel like Kobe's "crown of greatness" is threatened suddenly? LOL.

 

Why would you read youtube comments, I'm pretty sure it's outlawed as a torture treatment by the Geneva convention.

If you like to complain and bitch about this team so far this year (which amazes me, because their start has been a very pleasant surprise, the schedule has been BRUTAL), take a look at that thread.

 

Mostly look at what coldfish and doug are saying, though. They're a couple of the best posters there.

 

Duck is a great poster too.

Anyway, I know that's not gonna quiet the "omg we just shoot jumpshots (which isn't so much the case anymore, although it's still true to an extent) and have no interior presence (we don't)" people... this team has overall performed very well for what it is.

 

A good part of that is the sensational rookie, obviously.

Well this is basically the same roster(minus Rose) that won 49 games in 2006-07 and then the next year won only 33 games.

 

IMO, they overachived in 06-07 and underachived in 07-08. To me that is a 40-41 win team in reality. Now add Rose, who is already one of the top PG's in the game, and I don't see any reason why this team can't win 45-47 games.

I agree... except the difference between the last two years and the 06-07 team is that in 06-07 Wallace was somewhat productive... we did have somewhat of a defensive presence inside, at least.

And I absolutely agree with you. I'm very pleased with the start of the season. If we can find a way to win a couple more games on the circus trip, I'll be feeling pretty confident about the direction this team is in.

I'm not at all a believer in using ignore on forums. I have nobody on NSBB on ignore. If that forum had it, though, I'd use it.

 

If I could just weed out all the morons, there would only be great stuff from about 5-10 posters.

Frustrating 4th quarter. We battled though. Not sure why we went away from Noah who as giving us great energy in the first half...

 

This team is still learning how to play with Rose. He breaks down a defense with ease and finds himself in no man's land with no cutters or guys flashing to the hoop.

 

I could also do without Gordon overdribbling and bouncing it off his foot leading to an easy transition basket for the other team. He was doing just fine scoring by moving without the ball and spotting up.
