I actually watched quite a bit of the game last night. I also feel sorry for Rose, having this as his rookie team. I just hope Pax can somehow put a few more pieces in place to get some kind of balance on the roster.

At the moment I'm ready to trade the bulk of our roster for one all star player. I can't believe we gave Deng all that money -- he's completely useless. Is he going to do *ANYTHING* this year? Remember when rumor had it Kobe wouldn't come to the Bulls if Deng wasn't there? I'll bet Kobe wouldn't say that anymore.

When do we get to play other bad teams again? At least then I can watch and pretend we're good for a few hours.

I've heard the Lakers really like Kirk Hinrich. The only thing they really have to trade to matchup salary wise though is Lamar Odom or some crappy package involving Chris Mihm and Luke Walton.

I wouldn't feel sorry for Rose for this being his rookie team. Most rookies of his quality are on FAR worse teams than this.

Chris Mihm and Luke Walton for Hinrich was be a fantastic trade for the Bulls in my opinion. Given, I have no idea how the salaries would work out.

I don't know. I just need to shut up becuase I want to say all kinds of really nasty things -- but then I step back and go, "OK, let's give it a month or two."

All I can say is, for a sport that really isn't my primary interest, it's amazing how much frustration I feel over the Bulls. Even when they're winning. Maybe I was just really spoiled with the MJ years -- although I remember being really frustrated then too.

When it comes to basketball I don't know what it is, I just get upset following it :)

Doesn't Walton have just a ridiculous contract?

I'm pretty sure that's how you are about every sport, brobama..

you used to get really upset during the MJ years?

there is no hope for you

I was pretty upset that one time they almost lost game 7 to the Pacers...

I was pissed at Hue Freaking Hollins.

I was at my first Cubs game ever that day... but I didn't really care about the Cubs (or the Bulls). I remember the disappointment in the crowd when the PA guy announced the Bulls had lost. Derrick May hit a HR.

In his defense the NBA didn't want the Bulls, sans MJ, in the finals. Also one time Scottie Pippen stabbed his dog.

This topic needs to be updated... and tonight is gonna be sick, one of the following will happen... AT LEAST ONE:

Thomas gets a monster rejection against Shaq.

Rose drives to the hoop with a finesse shot over Shaq.

Nocioni hard fouls Shaq and a confrontation ensues.

Oh yea, Bulls lose.

Yeah.

There really is none.

Basketball can be the most frustrating sport to watch because the opportunity to do something dumb happens so frequently.

Unfortunately the Bulls take as many of those opportunities as they can.

Drew Gooden would be such a good player if he just had that little voice in his head that screamed, "HEY DUMMY, YOU AREN'T A POINT GUARD!" or "QUIT SHOOTING THE 17 FOOTER WHEN YOUR RANGE IS ONLY 13!"
