There is something really weird about listening to your friends broadcast Ball State games on a student radio station you used to work for, then listening to commercials voiced by others of your friends.

Really dumb playcalling by Okie State. They've done several fancy plays that didn't do ish, then they tried a fake punt. Totally killed their momentum.

Yeah, that takes the sting out of that scenario. Odds are that if Mustain hadn't been there in '06, Mallett would've chosen Arkansas over Michigan anyway.

that's what holy cross did to me - lost 75% of their football games and 70% of their basketball games when i was there, then had a winning record in football and made the ncaa tourney in basketball the year after i graduated.

oregon state leads wazzu 66-13. wazzu has lost their games against i-a opponents by a combined score of 307 to 63. they're not an awful team for a bcs conference, they're an awful team period. i can only think of a couple of teams (north texas, idaho) that might be worse than them.

I'm taking what I can get, but yeah, I'm a little envious, especially of the people in my freshman class that are still there. And the back to back worst basketball seasons in team history my last two years there weren't a picnic either.

 

WKU scored a meaningless TD with under a minute to go to break up the shutout. 24-7 will be the final.
