Best part is that no matter what the Cubs do here, their setup man was just lifted for a pinch-hitter out of necessity, so in a lead situation it'll either be two innings for Woody or an inning from one of the clowns that sit down there in the bullpen.

This is a good matchup for us. Broxton is not smiling in his picture, while DeRosa is.

 

Broxton also suspiciously looks like the opponents that Bugs Bunny faced.

Soto popped out to second base

Ward, pinch hitting for Marmol, blooped a single to center field , D Lee scored

Broxton in to pitch for Los Angeles

Cedeno pinch running for Ward

That stadium was louder than any moment in Chicago. Our fans and team sucked for two days.

The sad part is that absolutely none of us really thought anything was coming of that. Truly scary thought - what if everyone just flat out loses any faith this will ever happen?
