And yes, he's gotten worse each time he's been in the playoffs.

DeRosa grounded out to short, 6-3

Theriot grounded an IF single to third base

Fukudome singled to center field , Theriot to second

Wade in to pitch for Los Angeles

Soriano flied out to right field

Theriot took third on a wild pitch

That is going to be a dang hard streak to keep up for another year or two.

 

not really. chances are good we will get a lousy owner and never make the playoffs again, for like 25 years or so.

 

 

its a shoe-in really.

Better than getting demolished ever year in the playoffs. We're wasting a spot someone who wanted it could be using. We should have passed off to the Astros after Game 2.

That is my #1 fear for the future.

I'm moving to China in November and will be gone for all of next season. Thinking about this is the only thing that is making me happy. I can't take this anymore.

 

Really? I lived in China for about 18 months. Where you going to live? Why ya going there?

 

 

I'll be in Dalian teaching English and not watching the Cubs.

 

 

Dalian gets pretty cold...that's up near Harbin correct? Anyway I was in Beijing doing the same thing (teaching english). You're going to love it!!

 

Sweet. I need something to soothe the pain of this season. I guess moving 6000 miles from Chicago is a start.
